My Approach to Therapy

Feeling stuck and overwhelmed? It’s hard to be fully prepared for all of the challenges life throws at us. You don’t have to face it alone. Whether you’re struggling with emotional difficulties or other real-life obstacles, therapy can give you a space to pause, breathe, and reflect on what matters most to you. Together, we’ll work through the patterns holding you back, build practical tools for coping and growth, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and fulfilling. Over the past twenty years as a therapist, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship and workplace difficulties, illness, grief, and major life transitions. I focus on the present to help clients build awareness and engage with themselves more authentically. My goal is to help you reconnect with your spontaneous self and move beyond the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. This also means taking ownership of your choices, feelings, and actions. Together, we’ll explore new perspectives, strengthen self-awareness, and develop practical tools that support lasting change.

Groups I Work With

People often come to therapy when they feel stuck, repeating the same patterns, facing difficult emotions, or struggling with challenges that seem hard to change on their own. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, addiction, grief, work stress, or a major life transition, therapy can offer an opportunity to better understand yourself and move forward in a different way. I work collaboratively with clients to explore what's happening in their lives right now. Rather than focusing only on why things are the way they are, we pay attention to how you experience yourself in the present, and what gets in the way of living more fully. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, trust your own experience, and discover new ways of responding to life's challenges. Over time, this can lead to greater freedom, deeper relationships, and a stronger sense of connection to yourself.
