My Approach to Therapy

If you're ready to better understand yourself, break free from self-doubt, and create a life that feels more authentic, therapy can help. Together, we'll explore how your past experiences have shaped your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of self. My goal is to help you develop emotional maturity, strengthen self-awareness, and learn to embrace the present instead of living in anxiety or fear of what might happen. You'll gain practical tools to set healthy boundaries, prioritize your own needs without guilt, and build a life guided by your values rather than your fears. My work is grounded in a person-centered approach. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, respect, and honesty. Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. It does not have to feel stiff or clinical. Growth can include insight, practical tools, and even moments of humor. My goal is to help you feel more confident, grounded, and aligned with the version of yourself you want to become — not a “perfect” version, but a more authentic and self-assured one.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love being a therapist because I have the privilege of witnessing people rediscover themselves. There is something deeply meaningful about sitting with someone in their most vulnerable moments and watching them gradually replace self-doubt with self-understanding, fear with courage, and survival with truly living. I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" people. I believe each person already has the capacity to grow, heal, and create a life that feels authentic. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate space where they can explore their experiences, challenge old patterns, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been buried by pain, expectations, or life's hardships. The most rewarding part of my work isn't simply seeing change—it's watching clients realize that they are stronger, more resilient, and more capable than they ever believed. Being trusted with someone's story is an honor I never take for granted, and it continues to remind me why I chose this profession every single day.
