I specialize in working with anyone affected by addiction, family members of addicts, and anyone looking to grow and expand self-awareness. I am a certified addiction counselor. I am a certified brainspotting practitioner, which branches off of a trauma modality known as EMDR. I am a certified experiential specialist. I am an anger resolution specialist. I am also listed on the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) State of Georgia site as a clinical evaluator. Addiction is a disease that often pushes us to go against our morals; this causes uncomfortable emotional states that we tend to want to avoid discussing. To begin healing, we must feel these emotions, and to feel the emotions, we need someone to process them with. I have personally experienced the darkness of addiction in my own life and strive to help people see their light!

?I have been working in recovery for eight years and have seen a wide range of issues related to addiction. Addiction in itself can be a traumatic event as it causes us to go against our morals. Addiction often contributes to shame and can produce anger, anxiety, and depression, as well as many other common struggles. I have created individualized treatment plans for every issue my clients have presented. Each client has different needs and goals, so I take a person-centered approach to best serve. In recovery, it is important to identify our strengths and capitalize on them rather than only focusing on the problem.
