My Approach to Therapy
I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and change, even when life feels overwhelming. My role as a counselor is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore challenges honestly, gain new perspectives, and develop the tools you need to move forward with confidence.
I take a collaborative and person-centered approach to therapy. Rather than viewing you as a diagnosis or a problem to be fixed, I work to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we can identify patterns that may be holding you back, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I have a special interest in working with athletes, people facing substance use concerns, and those navigating the challenges that often come with them, such as anxiety, depression, stress, identity issues, and relationship difficulties. Whether you're striving to perform at your best, recover from setbacks, maintain sobriety, or regain a sense of balance in your life, I offer a space where you can be honest about your struggles without fear of judgment.
At the same time, I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life. Every person's story is different, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel understood, supported, challenged when needed, and empowered to create the life you want to live.
