Leading Light Behavioral Health is more than a traditional therapy practice. We are a comprehensive, trauma-informed behavioral health teaching practice committed to helping people rewrite the “I can’t” narrative. We combine evidence-based individual, couples, child, adolescent, family, and group clinical care with psychological evaluations, community-based services, clinician training, leadership consultation, and culturally responsive treatment under one organization. Our team specializes in serving individuals, families, and communities that have historically faced barriers to quality mental health care, with particular expertise in trauma, neurodiversity, forensic and court-related evaluations, and the unique experiences of Black women. What truly makes us different is our commitment to empowering both clients and future clinicians through education, innovation, and compassionate care that recognizes strengths, restores dignity, and creates lasting change. Unlike practices that focus solely on symptom reduction, we help people build lives they do not have to recover from by integrating treatment, assessment, education, community support, and prevention into one continuum of care.
