My Approach to Therapy

As an older African American female, I understand the value of recognizing emotions and learning how to process them. Daniella Lozano is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with three years of experience in the mental health field. Her primary focus is working with adults who are facing different challenges and seeking support in their lives. Daniella works with concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship problems, stress, and major life transitions. She helps clients develop coping strategies, explore patterns of thinking and behavior, and identify and modify unhelpful beliefs. Daniella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

My Practice & Services

In her therapeutic practice, Daniella draws from various evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). Her overall approach to therapy is eclectic, allowing her to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs. Experiencing difficult situations can be tough, and it’s natural to feel overwhelmed. Daniella understands that every individual has unique challenges, and she is committed to providing a safe, supportive space. If you’re ready to take that first step toward healing and personal growth, Daniella encourages you to reach out.
