As a certified substance use counselor, family systems coach, biofeedback practitioner, and interventionist, I work to destigmatize and heal trauma, depression, anxiety, and dysfunctional dynamics amongst people of all ages, genders, and communities, non-judgmentally and with a sense of humor. I’m committed to helping individuals and their families overcome challenges with an approach that’s compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to meet their unique needs. In Pacific Palisades for the past 7 years, I have relocated, with new office spaces in Santa Monica, Malibu, and Beverly Hills, in-person and by telehealth. We just talk. And it helps. My role is in teaching skills to feel better right now, while simultaneously tackling past traumas, usually without the use of medication. I help manage withdrawal effects from drugs, alcohol, and prescription medication, including antidepressants, and offer computerized biofeedback for those symptoms as well as general anxiety. Recognition of ongoing issues and an openness to change are how we begin the process. So, congratulations.
