You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. Whether you're navigating something difficult, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, therapy can be a space to slow down and make sense of what you've been carrying. My hope is to create an environment where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported, with room for difficult conversations, reflection, laughter, and everything in between. I work with adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, eating and body image concerns, relationship challenges, grief, identity exploration, and life transitions. I'm also committed to providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care and creating a space where your identity and experiences are respected. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you're the expert on your own life. I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches, tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals. Some sessions may be more reflective, while others may focus on practical tools for navigating everyday challenges. Throughout our work, I value getting to know you as a whole person, beyond the challenges that may have brought you to therapy. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, deepen your understanding of yourself, and consider what it might look like to be more of a friend to yourself, approaching your experiences with greater curiosity, care, and compassion. I offer virtual individual therapy to adults throughout Illinois and Maine.
