My Approach to Therapy

At House of Dancy Healing Hearts PLLC, I provide therapy for high-functioning individuals in Texas who are navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are successful, capable, and deeply compassionate, yet privately exhausted from carrying the weight of relationships, responsibilities, and expectations without enough support. I specialize in working with people who struggle with over functioning, people-pleasing, and difficulty slowing down. You may appear strong on the outside while feeling anxious, disconnected, or emotionally drained on the inside. Therapy with me offers a space where you do not have to perform, fix, or carry. You get to simply be. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside faith-integrated counseling for clients who desire a spiritual component in their healing. Together, we will work to reduce anxiety, strengthen emotional boundaries, process life experiences, and help you reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and balance. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. My Practice & Services

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed but unsure why. They may be navigating demanding careers, relationship challenges, caregiving roles, or major life transitions such as divorce or identity shifts. Others are managing long-standing anxiety, overthinking, or difficulty setting boundaries. While they are used to pushing through, something within them is asking for a different way to live. My role is to help you slow down long enough to understand what your mind and body have been trying to communicate. Together, we will gently explore the patterns that keep you stuck in overfunctioning and emotional depletion, while building practical tools that support lasting change. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care with a compassionate, client-centered approach. For those who desire it, I also incorporate faith-based counseling, allowing space for spiritual reflection, prayer, and alignment with your values as part of the healing process. Therapy with me is not about fixing you.
