I utilize an empathetic and nonjudgmental approach, as seeking help can be intimidating, and mental health issues are often stigmatized. I provide therapeutic services to adolescents, young adults, and adults in Ohio. I use a client-centred and values-based approach because your needs and wants are important in developing your treatment goals. Using a variety of evidence-based treatment methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), we will work together to navigate life’s difficult times while you gain skills to problem-solve independently. I am an independently licensed counselor with a supervisory designation in Ohio, and I maintain my National Certified Counselor (NCC), Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credentials. I am also trained in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM). I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Humanities, a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision.
