The default setting for a human being is contentment and happiness. We are not supposed to live uncomfortably in anguish and confusion. If you or a loved one are looking to feel better, please let me know. I provide therapy for those adults, children, and couples who wish to improve their lives. I specialize in emotional control, anxiety, depression, concentration, relationships, life transitions, focus development, relaxation training, and stress reduction. I promote well-being through insight and informed discovery. I ask my clients to bravely face the mirror and speak honestly about the way they feel. I am trained to accompany you through this process.
Imagine you’re at the point where things aren’t completely falling apart, but you know something isn’t working the way it should. You’re handling responsibilities, showing up for work, your family, and the people who depend on you. On the outside, things look fine. But internally, you might feel stuck in the same arguments, the same stress, or the same patterns that keep repeating, no matter how hard you try to handle them on your own. You may be the kind of person who usually figures things out yourself. You push forward, solve problems, and keep things moving. But when it comes to communication in your relationship, managing stress, or navigating a major transition, it can feel like you’re running the same play over and over and getting the same result. That’s often when people reach out. My role is to help you slow things down and make sense of what’s actually happening underneath the surface. In our work together, we focus less on venting and more on understanding patterns, improving communication, and building practical strategies that you can apply in real life. If you come in as a couple, I help both of you step out of the cycle you’re stuck in so you can actually hear each other and move the conversation forward. If you come in individually, we focus on identifying what’s keeping you stuck and developing clear, actionable ways to change it. My style is active, structured, and solution-focused. I ask direct questions, offer clear feedback, and help you translate insight into real change. The goal isn’t just to talk about problems. The goal is to help you move forward with more clarity, better communication, and practical tools you can use outside the therapy room. If you’re motivated to do the work and ready to approach things differently, therapy can be a powerful place to reset patterns and start building something healthier going forward.
As a man, feeling like you should be further ahead in life is one of the worst possible feelings. Whether you hate going into the office every day or you're totally unfulfilled in your marriage, feeling like a failure in one area bleeds over into every other part of your life. Escaping into sports, or TV, or just drinking with your friends no longer works. And the clock keeps ticking away the weeks, days, hours of your life. The good news is: you're not alone. I help men overcome and transform the stuff that isn't working. Whether it's a career issue, a relationship issue, or something personal you've never shared with anyone before, we can work on it in therapy and help you improve your life. The men I work with cultivate more confidence, clarity, and power. I know what it is like to struggle as a man. I offer a welcoming, non-judgmental space where it is safe to bring your whole self. You will have an experience of being seen, heard, and listened to. Together, we'll figure things out. Call now for a free 20-minute discussion about how I can help you.
Welcome! It can be hard to recognize that you might have parts of your life that you have pushed aside or are uncomfortable with. It takes a lot of courage to acknowledge this and then to take the steps to reach out to someone for assistance. I believe in working as a partner with people to explore areas that cause difficulty, to build upon solutions that have previously worked, and to learn new skills to improve one's ability to cope. I enjoy getting to know the people I work with and finding solutions that are unique to them. One of my greatest professional joys is being with someone as they grow in ways that allow them to find calm, confidence, and better ways of coping in this wild world. If you feel we might be a good match, I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you. Telehealth provided across NY State only. I am accepting new clients and have availability in the morning hours (9am-12pm).
In-person evening or weekend therapy available in Scarsdale, White Plains, and Mahopac. I help couples and adults work through relationship conflict, emotional distance, sexual concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), alcohol-related concerns, men’s issues, and patterns that keep repeating. Some people come in with a partner. Others come in alone because mood, drinking, trauma, anger, avoidance, or relationship stress is affecting the life they want. My work is practical, direct, and focused on understanding what gets stuck, so we can work on what needs to change.

She sees clients via Telehealth video sessions using the Simple Practice platform, via smart phone or computer. She also has limited slots to see clients in person for WALK AND TALK sessions in the local Providence Metro area. Kelly is licensed in both RI and MA. She works with young adults, adults, and seniors. She enjoys working with clients who consider themselves "high performers" as well as those individuals going through adjustment difficulties or transitional challenges. She works with people who are having trouble in their relationships, and folks with LGBTQIA+ concerns. She works with individuals who identify as ACOA (adult children of alcoholics), and people struggling with perfectionism and procrastination. She helps individuals with boundary-setting and direct communication. She hopes you'll consider her an ally to you. Kelly spent several years working in an oncology clinic, supporting clients and their caregivers dealing with cancer diagnoses, she also worked in other hospital settings including ER’s, psychiatric intake, as well as a PHP. She opened her private practice more recently. Kelly sees clients coping with grief and loss, and with those struggling with anxiety and self-esteem concerns. She believes that seeking therapy takes courage and that clients need connection, trust, and a safe space for their innermost thoughts and feelings. Therapy can be challenging work, but with it, comes the freedom to more fully enjoy life. She assists her clients with identifying strengths, processing emotions, and reviewing old patterns and beliefs while looking at new and different ways of examining life. Clients will work with her to develop healthier coping skills, increase self-awareness, and find the ability to express themselves more fully and learn techniques for self-love and forgiveness.
The choice to begin therapy is a courageous one. I consider it a great privilege to partner with people as they work to improve various aspects of their lives. I provide a safe, empathetic, and warm environment to encourage exploration and personal growth. Everyone entering therapy has a unique set of goals; I work to meet those specific needs and desires through an eclectic approach of interpersonal, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and solution-focused therapy. I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, bereavement, PTSD, and substance abuse.
Fall has a way of sneaking up on you, suddenly the holidays are coming, the days feel heavier, and if you're already struggling, that weight can get overwhelming fast. I help adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck find more stability and clarity, including those navigating trauma, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or psychosis. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I tailor our work to meet you exactly where you are (not a one-size-fits-all plan) using evidence-based methods, creative tools, or both. Together, we'll get you to 'I got this! I draw from a few modalities including Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which helps reframe distressing memories to eliminate triggers, and art therapy, which can give shape and color to feelings that words can’t always capture. Sessions are often a mix of conversation, reflection, and even laughter as we build trust and move. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. I invite you to book a session so we can begin creating a plan that feels right for you. My hope is that by the end of our first meeting you’ll feel lighter, more hopeful, and maybe even surprised at how much you’re looking forward to our next session because I know I will be.
