I work with individuals navigating trauma and anxiety, as well as couples working to rebuild connection and communication. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) alongside talk therapy, especially for clients whose difficult experiences feel "stuck" — replaying, overwhelming, or hard to put into words. I think of myself as a "process consultant" — my job isn't to talk you out of your emotions, but to help you understand what they're telling you. We don't get to choose our emotions, but we can learn to understand and use them as information. My work is helping you tolerate, process, and make meaning of what you're feeling, whether that's on your own or alongside your partner. This can be deep, sometimes hard, work — but it's worth it. My hope is that my office, and my presence, offer the safety you need to do it.
