More Info

Sunrise is a residential treatment center for teens ages 13-17, serving girls, boys, and LGBTQ+ youth. As the leading dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) program, Sunrise helps teens heal and develop the skills needed to regulate their emotions, build resilience, and gain greater independence.

About Our Center

How we help teens and families heal: Sunrise has a holistic approach to treatment on a continuum of three phases. In the first phase, students are assessed and stabilized; in the second phase they are treated, and in the third and final phase, they transition into independence. Sunrise is the only adolescent and teen girls, boys, and LGBTQ+ residential treatment center that offers all three on their campus. Sunrise also offers around-the-clock care in a safe, home-like environment, helping teens facing suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or other mental health challenges. We focus on family-centered healing with a firm belief that parents are integral to the healing process at our residential treatment center, with consistent communication and family involvement to rebuild trust and connection. Our residential treatment is DBT-focused and is backed by treatment outcomes that show how our recovery treatment center (RTC) helps teens decrease anxiety, depression, and distress. Help your teen create real-life change. Sunrise facilitates healing in struggling teens by empowering families to build a life worth living by making peace with the past, thriving in the present, and moving boldly into the future. Our team is here to help your daughter, son, or LGBTQ+ youth and your family get the help they need to heal and grow together. Contact us today to learn how we can help your teen and family create real-life change.
