License/Accreditation Information: Kelly Lewallen received her bachelor’s in nutrition sciences from the University of Washington in 1983, a teacher’s certificate from Portland University in 1987 and a master’s in psychology from Chapman University in 1997. In 2006 she earned an EMDR Level 2 Certification. She is a licensed MFT. In Kelly’s practice she specializes in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, addictions and eating disorders. Kelly has extra training and experience in treating Binge Eating Disorders

About Our Center

Our treatment and care plan combats binge eating disorder, enabling a more positive relationship with your body, mind, and food. Our team includes a nutritionist, psychotherapist, and movement specialist, each of whom is highly trained in a specific area of expertise. We also involve your physician, ensuring you get the medical support you need to move beyond binge eating. We first seek to understand the roots of binge eating disorder. We focus on helping you heal through care and counseling. We rely on a range of strategies, including DBT, nutrition, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing trauma therapy, mindfulness, therapeutic movement, and aftercare. Note: Being obese does not mean that you have binge eating disorder. However, many people with binge eating disorder are obese.
