Clinical Director. Leslie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who holds a master's degree in Community Agency Counseling from University of Montevallo and a bachelor's degree in Theatre and English Literature from Birmingham-Southern College. She is currently pursing her Certified Eating Disorders Specialist designation. Leslie's clinical experience includes working with individuals impacted by eating disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and process addictions. Leslie previously served as a primary therapist at Magnolia Creek from 2012-2014 and an adjunct therapist from 2015-2016. Prior to returning to the Magnolia Creek staff full-time in 2016, she was a primary therapist at an addiction treatment center.

 Maggie Klyce , LGSW

Primary Therapist. Maggie Klyce received her master’s degree from the University of Alabama and is currently pursuing her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist designation. She is a member of the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals and serves on the inaugural board for the Alabama Chapter. She has presented on topics including the treatment of individuals with co-morbid eating disorders, identification and prevention of eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Maggie previously worked as a therapist at a residential treatment facility specializing in addiction. She is an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained therapist and strives to help clients overcome trauma and negative core beliefs that have bound them to their eating disorder. She utilizes other modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and body centered approaches. Maggie believes recovery is more than symptom remission and strives to help her clients reconnect to a life filled with meaning and purpose.

About Our Center

We offer customized programs to women (ages 18 years and older) struggling with feeding or eating disorders such as: anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, other specified/unspecified eating disorders, rumination disorder, pica, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder and/or co-occurring mental conditions such as mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, attachment disorder, dissociative disorders and personality disorders.

Magnolia Creek offers evidence-based, quality care to women dealing with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our goal to provide comprehensive treatment to meet the psychological, medical, nutritional, spiritual, and relational needs of our clients.
