A decision to seek therapy is often made on the heels of a crisis. The crisis could be emotional, physical or chemical.Through an eclectic approach to healing I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is at the forefront of today's therapeutic practices. additional modalities of therapy include trans personal therapy, which focuses on healing by going beyond the physical self. This was known as a Jungian approach where access to the higher consciousness becomes a portal for healing. In this approach we work together to integrate your own mind body spirit wisdom or higher self with person centered therapy to guide the healing process. I have been a clinician for over 30 years. In addition to traditional psychotherapy I may incorporate Spiritual Intuitive Counseling, Mediumship and various Energy Healing modalities. I am a certified hypnotherapist and Reiki Practitioner. I have been been certified in Past Life Regression hypnotherapy, by Dr. Brian Weiss, Psychiatrist and Author of the best selling book, Many Lives, Many Masters.

It is important for me to provide you with a warm and genuine experience in therapy in order to feel comfortable and not judged. My passion as a therapist is to help facilitate your healing and personal growth.
My goal is to empower you as quickly as possible, and to give you the tools you need to help yourself. As an immigrant from South Africa, I love working with icomplex relationships, acculturation & identity( work, sexual, racial). I work collaboratively and use a cross cultural approach utilizing multiple methodologies (existential, mind/body, interpersonal, psychodynamic, mindfulness, CBT) to name a few. I hope to help you find relief quickly, but sometimes the work can take longer depending on the complexity of what you come in with. People are most surprised by how quickly they feel at ease talking about delicate issues.
Welcome! I’m Christina Jamison, LMHC. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not like yourself lately, you’re in the right place. For the past 7 years, I’ve helped people move through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life’s transitions with more clarity, ease, and self-confidence. I also support athletes and performers who want to strengthen their mindset and reach their full potential. My approach is warm, supportive, and very practical. Using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and person-centered methods, we’ll work together to understand what’s going on beneath the surface and build real tools you can use in everyday life. If you’re ready to make meaningful changes, big or small, I’m here to help you get there. Clients often tell me they feel heard, understood, and more grounded after our sessions. You can expect to: gain clarity and self-awareness, heal from difficult or traumatic experiences, learn coping skills that actually stick, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life and version of yourself you truly want.
I work with clients who are navigating the impact of past trauma, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or engaging in self-harming behaviors. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in meeting you where you are in your healing journey. Using a combination of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), narrative therapy, and person-centered approaches, I help clients explore their experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable, build readiness for trauma-focused work, and move toward healing and greater self-understanding. I also incorporate elements of Geek Therapy, drawing on clients’ interests and passions to strengthen therapeutic connections, reinforce insights, and support meaningful growth beyond our sessions. I am also a Massachusetts Certified Clinical Supervisor (MaCCS), and I can provide clinical supervision to those seeking hours toward their Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Massachusetts at reasonable rates.
My goal as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is to help you get in the driver’s seat of your own life. A history of trauma, depression, anxiety, or attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), coping with life changes, and dealing with the stress of relationships, family, work, school, and all the challenges that life throws at us can lead us to feel out of control and demoralized. I want to help you better understand yourself, your thoughts, and your mind, and teach you coping skills that empower you to live your healthiest, happiest life. I know there is no cookie-cutter approach to therapy, and I want to get to know you as an individual. My approach is trauma-informed, and I often incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and cognitive processing to help you overcome unhealthy patterns and feel more secure and confident. I know it can be intimidating to start therapy. I like to use humor and warmth to build a strong relationship based on mutual respect and understanding, so you feel comfortable sharing and being yourself. I hope I get a chance to get to know you, help you work through whatever difficulties you’re facing, and build a better life.
