What's My Approach to Therapy?
I tailor my approach to each client or couple based on the needs of each situation. My therapy toolbox includes cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, dialectical behavioral, exposure-response, internal family systems, and psychodynamic therapies with all ages, populations, and issues. Clients can expect to leave sessions with me feeling heard and validated, curious about what is happening within themselves, and with tools and steps to move forward.
My Practice & Services
Therapy requires trust and some amount of personality and communication style fit. No therapist works for everyone. I encourage each person to trust themself to know what works for them and what doesn't and to advocate for what they need.
My Role as a Therapist
I work with clients to help them with their relationships, identity, mental health and life transitions. We collaborate to create a plan that is appropriate for where each client is and what their goals may be. Most of my clients report feelings of relief and hope within the first session.
