My Approach to Therapy
If you and your partner keep having the same fight, just with different words, that usually isn't a communication problem. It's an old wound running the show.
I'm Yaji Tramontini, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I help couples and individuals across California break out of painful, repeating patterns, break down the energetic walls that keep you disconnected, and truly reconnect. Whether you're stuck in constant reactivity, walking on eggshells, drifting apart, or navigating divorce, co-parenting, or high-conflict family dynamics, my work is about helping you calm the intensity, rebuild safety and trust, and reconnect in a way that lasts.
Relationship pain is often driven by deeper, unhealed experiences, so alongside couples work, I use eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to resolve trauma at the root. I've practiced EMDR since 2010, with more than 20,000 clinical hours, and I'm an Approved Clinical Supervisor.
I also work one-on-one with parents in resist-refuse dynamics (sometimes called parental alienation). When a child is resisting or refusing contact, the most powerful thing a parent can do is regulate their own nervous system, so they can respond to their child, the other parent, and the courts from a grounded, steady place. I help you build that.
My approach is holistic and spiritually integrated. I draw on somatic and attachment-based work, mindfulness, and transpersonal psychology, honoring both your logic and your intuition, emotions, and spiritual life.
Everything is 100% online, so you can do this meaningful work from anywhere in California. If any of this sounds like you, reach out for a free 20-minute consultation.
