My Approach to Helping

We all just want to feel comfortable in our own skin. We want to live our lives feeling inspired, happy, and purposeful. Somewhere along the way we may have sought out external things to achieve this goal: drugs, alcohol, relationships, jobs, social circles, money, status, etc. These things work for a little while…until they don’t. We finally get to a place where we realize we need help turning inward. We become willing to examine our trauma and core wounds and heal from what is in the way of us emerging into our fullest selves. This is where transformation begins.

I am deeply committed to helping men, women and families overcome addiction, heal trauma and thrive in the face of mood disorders. I am a Clinical Social Worker who utilizes trauma-informed Psychotherapy and EMDR therapy to help clients experience authentic transformation. I use a compassionate and direct approach with my clients to promote healing and connection.

Although it may be hard to imagine, it’s possible to feel comfortable in your skin. You can heal from your addiction. You can thrive with your mental illness. You can achieve a purposeful and inspired life. I’d be honored to walk with you on that journey.
