My Approach to Therapy

As a survivor of many different life experiences, I’m able to work with clients and understand the challenges that life can often bring. Whitney Crawford is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience in professional environments, including healthcare, higher education, workforce development, and mental health. Whitney focuses on life transitions, anxiety, grief, career transitions, school issues, and stress. Whitney is passionate about working with individuals to address their unique challenges and concerns, and to help them learn new techniques to overcome those challenges.

My Practice & Services

Whitney completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at The Ohio State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Ohio. She has ample experience supporting people as they move through life transitions, career changes, and the various nuances that come with pursuing higher education. Whitney also has a lot of experience helping people manage, process, and cope with grief. These experiences allow Whitney to empower and guide others using multiple treatment approaches, including solution-focused brief therapy, unconditional positive regard, person-centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Life can be hard. Getting through each day and overcoming the obstacles that come your way is not always fun or ideal. Still, Whitney is confident she can support, educate, and equip you with skills to help you tackle those obstacles so that overcoming them feels less burdensome. Whitney believes in your ability to be triumphant. Schedule an appointment with her today to begin skill-building and perspective-adjusting. She looks forward to speaking with you soon.
