What's My Approach to Therapy?
Are you struggling with feelings of anxiety, hopelessness, stress, anger, or urges to engage in maladaptive coping mechanisms? I am here to provide a safe space to work through day-to-day challenges and process difficult experiences and emotions. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and safe so that we can build a collaborative relationship that fosters growth and allows you to be vulnerable, open, and honest. Starting therapy can be difficult and daunting, yet such a brave step to take. I will be here to work through it all with you.
I have been working with adolescents in residential, outpatient, and inpatient treatment settings. In my current inpatient work, I provide therapy for a wide range of diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar, borderline personality, and psychosis, in addition to behavioral challenges, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal ideation.
I love hearing about your strengths, interests, and goals. I want to help you feel as comfortable as possible. My focus is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship in which you can share anything you are struggling with, as well as successes. I believe everyone deserves a chance to heal, and I would love to be a part of that journey with you.
