I have worked as a therapist in a variety of settings since 2002. I have experience working with a wide spectrum of issues, including those related to trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), depression, anxiety, marital issues, anger management, addictions, and parenting. For seven years, I worked in a residential treatment program where clients were between the ages of 13 and 17, with presenting issues that ranged from Asperger’s syndrome to attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD) to substance use issues. After leaving residential treatment, I joined LifeSTAR of St. George and began working with individuals and couples experiencing challenges related to pornography and sexual compulsion. I am certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which is an often-used treatment for posttraumatic stress and other trauma-based conditions. I specialize in treating trauma along a broad spectrum, from sexual abuse and assault, to relational trauma, to combat and first-responder service-related traumas. Specialty areas: posttraumatic stress (PTSD), grief and loss, pornography and sexual addiction recovery, and other impulsive-compulsive addictive behaviors.
