I am accepting new clients! My name is Tim Collins, and I am a licensed professional counselor in Blue Springs, MO. The clients I work with typically are struggling with depression, anxiety, and addiction issues. They are typically wanting to find healing as well as repair the relationships in their lives, which may have been impacted by these struggles. I have worked for six years with teens and families in crisis and have helped them return to stability in the home environment. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and have worked with many clients with a history of severe trauma. I also use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thinking patterns are impacting their emotions and behaviors. I know signing up for counseling is a difficult first step, but it is a great way to find relief from the issues you have been dealing with.
