I believe as a therapist, I provide an impartial, listening ear, helping people to ask themselves questions and think about their situation in a new and helpful way. Working with families, in particular, helping each member feel heard and able to express themselves in a judgment-free environment.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
Therapy sessions are generally 45-50 minutes long. Frequency of session will be determined by the level of distress you may be currently experiencing. There is no set rule of how long someone should receive therapy services. Duration may range from months to years. A client may at anytime decide, to no longer receive therapy. The client may decrease or end their therapeutic relationship as they see fit. It can be a common experience that a person may discontinue therapy then come back at another time in life for the same presenting problem or a different one. As your therapist I will allow for a more client-centered approach. As a collaborative team we can choose the duration best for you and your families needs.
