What's My Approach to Therapy?
My approach to helping people is quite dependent on the client that I am working with. I avoid using any cookie-cutter approach and highlight self-awareness, respect, as well as resourcefulness to my clients. I emphasize professional, ethical, and moral standards in my work as well as the workplace. I help clients move away from focusing on quick fixes and move towards long-term realistic strategies. I specialize in working with teenagers, young adults, and couples. My approach in therapy is to ultimately guide clients to where they want to be and help them explore other possibilities for themselves, essentially, listening beyond spoken words.
