My Approach to Helping
Welcome. Are you ready for the work necessary to make real, enduring change? Do you have a troubling personal issue or suffer from general dissatisfaction? My orientation is to focus on the unconscious, the elusive essence of the problem. A powerful process unfolds when change occurs at this level of the mind. This opens the space for authentic personal transformation.
I provide psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and psychological evaluations. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and offer services both in Spanish and English.

My Therapy Focus
Lacanian analysis presents an opportunity to work through suffering and to produce a real transformation. Unlike psychotherapy and some other forms of psychoanalysis, the Lacanian treatment focuses on speech and the unconscious. In doing so, the fundamental structure of a problem can be revealed thereby opening up the possibility of cutting it at the root. In particular, Lacanian analysis is well suited for longstanding andor serious issues and that have been previously impossible to resolve. If interested in a personal analysis, please call me directly so as to determine if, and how, we might work together.
