What's My Approach to Therapy?
I work with teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, somatic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)- and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed techniques to support emotional healing and nervous system regulation. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each person, helping clients feel more grounded, connected, and confident in daily life.
My Practice & Services
I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy for teens and young adults in Wisconsin. Sessions are collaborative and paced intentionally, with a focus on helping clients feel safe, supported, and understood. I accept insurance and offer sliding scale options when available. I also provide a free 15-minute consultation to help answer questions and determine if we’re a good fit.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I specialize in working with teens and young adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, stress, attachment concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns of overthinking or people-pleasing and are looking for practical tools to feel more grounded and regulated.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
It?s common to feel unsure about starting therapy, especially if you?re used to handling things on your own. Therapy doesn?t require you to have everything figured out. It?s a space to explore what?s been weighing on you, learn new ways to cope, and move at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Finding the right therapist is about feeling comfortable, understood, and supported. I believe the therapeutic relationship matters deeply, and I encourage clients to trust their instincts when choosing a provider. A strong sense of safety, collaboration, and mutual respect can make therapy more effective.
