Throughout the process of our human life, we cross thresholds into new experiences that open opportunities for individual awareness. These personal awakenings create openings for moments of becoming greater than what we currently are. Together, we explore life experiences, creating meaning and purpose in moments of everyday living. Along with working with individuals, I am also a level II PACT (psychobiological approach to couples therapy) couples therapist. Using the principles of neuroscience, attachment theory, and the biology of human arousal, I will support you while helping you learn powerful strategies to create the change you want in your relationship. I am also trained as a sex addiction and sexual recovery therapist. My initial training in masters-level clinical work began at Pacifica Graduate Institute. This individual-focused training emphasizes the psychological forces, such as feelings and emotions, that influence behavior. In essence, it asks how our past affects our present. My ongoing training includes specialization in treating complex posttraumatic stress (PTSD).
