My Approach to Therapy

I work with people navigating self-esteem and body image concerns, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting effects of trauma. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves, especially those who spend much of their energy supporting others and leaving their own needs on the back burner. Together, we create a supportive, collaborative space to build self-awareness, confidence, healthy boundaries, and lasting emotional well-being. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Maine, and I offer therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, parts work, and self-compassion. Sessions focus on making sense of your inner world, shifting unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, and developing practical tools you can use in daily life. We work together to increase clarity, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of direction and self-trust. Seeking support takes courage, especially when you’re carrying the weight of past experiences, family patterns, or self-doubt. You deserve a space where you feel seen, accepted, and supported. Together, we can work toward healing, greater self-understanding, and a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
