My Approach to Therapy

You may already know where your struggles come from. You may have spent years trying to understand yourself, read the books, or even been in therapy before. And yet anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, or overwhelming emotional reactions continue to show up in ways that don't make sense. If that's where you find yourself, you're not alone, and it doesn't mean you've failed. I believe healing involves more than insight alone. Together, we'll slow things down enough to understand not only your story, but also how your nervous system, emotions, and protective patterns have learned to help you survive. My role isn't to tell you what's wrong with you. It's to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself while creating the conditions for lasting change. My approach is collaborative, relational, and thoughtfully paced. I integrate eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and depth-oriented therapy, adapting the process to your needs rather than following a rigid formula. Some sessions focus on understanding patterns, while others involve processing experiences that continue to affect you in the present. Throughout our work, I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and fully yourself. Therapy doesn't require you to have everything figured out before you begin. Whether you're seeking support for trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or simply feel like something isn't shifting despite your efforts, I'd be honored to help you explore what healing might look like for you.

My Practice & Services

I offer in-person psychotherapy in Fair Oaks, California, and online therapy for adults throughout California. My practice is focused on providing intentional, trauma-informed care in a setting where you don't have to rush or perform. I work with individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions, and I tailor therapy to your unique goals rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I know that finding the right therapist is an important decision. That's why I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can talk about what you're looking for, answer any questions you have, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.

What You Can Expect in Therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and paced with care. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be honest and curious, not pressured to move faster than you're ready. Some sessions focus on understanding patterns and building insight, while others involve processing experiences that continue to influence your life today. My goal is to help you develop greater freedom, flexibility, and connection with yourself and the people who matter most.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in helping adults heal from childhood trauma, complex PTSD, developmental trauma, emotional neglect, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-worth, and recurring relationship patterns. I also work with individuals who have gained insight through previous therapy but continue to feel emotionally or physically stuck. Together, we focus on helping lasting change occur not only intellectually, but also within the nervous system and the ways you experience yourself and your relationships.

Groups I Work With

I work with adults who are navigating the lasting effects of trauma, including childhood trauma, complex PTSD, developmental trauma, emotional neglect, and difficult relationship experiences. Many of the people I work with have already developed insight into their patterns, yet continue to struggle with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-criticism, or recurring relationship dynamics. I also work with adults who are seeking a more focused, trauma-informed approach to therapy for the first time. My practice is welcoming to individuals from diverse backgrounds who are looking for thoughtful, collaborative, and evidence-informed care.
