Hi. I am Susan Ristau, a Georgia-licensed professional counselor with many years of education and experience. I believe my clients have the innate ability to solve their own problems and sometimes just need a little gentle push from a compassionate listener to improve their lives.

I believe in honest, open communication with clients, letting them set the pace for disclosure. No one wants to be told what to do or feel like their counselor is acting parental. I believe clients need encouragement and support to solve their own struggles and that they do possess the ability to do so with just a little assistance from an experienced, compassionate helper. I truly enjoy empowering my clients during our time together.
