What's My Approach to Therapy?
As your therapist, I take a holistic and integrated approach to mental health that is collaborative, person-centred, and affirming. I work from a strengths-based perspective, incorporating humour and mindfulness therapies into our sessions, co-creating a therapeutic relationship grounded in patience, empathy, understanding, and empowerment. At all times, I meet you where you’re at in your healing journey, while providing you with the support to get to where you want to be.
My specialities include anxiety, depression, life transitions, women’s health, self-esteem challenges, identity issues, stress management, substance use, and trauma for adults across the life span. I am especially passionate about helping those who are looking for support with perinatal mental health and motherhood.
