What's My Approach to Therapy?

When you’re looking for a therapist here in Idaho, you’re often carrying something heavy—feeling overwhelmed, hurt by a relationship rupture, struggling with past trauma, or simply feeling unlike yourself. You may be tired of holding it together on the outside while everything inside feels unsettled. If that’s where you are, I want you to know you’re not alone, and there is a way forward.

I help adults who feel stuck, weighed down, or unsure how to heal. In our work, you’ll find a calm, grounded space where you can exhale, be honest, and not feel judged. I show up with steadiness and clarity so you don’t have to navigate this season by yourself.

My process is collaborative and paced with care. I use EMDR, trauma-informed approaches, and attachment work to help you understand what you’re carrying, why it still impacts you, and how to move toward relief. We work together to build the safety and stability you need, then gently process the deeper wounds so real healing can take root.

If you’re ready for support that is steady, compassionate, and focused on meaningful change, I’m here to walk with you.

My Practice & Services

My practice provides specialized trauma therapy for adults across Idaho, with a focus on EMDR, betrayal trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, and women’s mental health. I serve clients statewide through secure telehealth, making it accessible for individuals in Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Nampa, and rural Idaho communities to receive consistent, high-quality support.

Therapy sessions are paced with intention—supporting adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in long-standing emotional patterns. My work is grounded in EMDR, trauma-informed care, attachment-based approaches, and steady, relational support. Faith-based counseling is available upon request for clients who desire Christian-aligned integration.

I keep my caseload intentionally small to provide responsive and personalized care. In the future, I plan to offer groups focused on betrayal trauma recovery, pregnancy loss and infertility, and Gottman’s Lessons for Love for Singles, giving clients additional ways to grow in community.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in trauma-focused care for adults across Idaho, including EMDR for PTSD, complex trauma, and long-standing emotional patterns. I?m skilled in helping individuals heal from betrayal trauma, infidelity, compulsive sexual behavior impacts, and trust injuries within relationships.

I also support women navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, grief, perinatal mood shifts, pregnancy loss, and infertility. Many clients come to me when they feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward.

My approach blends EMDR, attachment-focused therapy, and steady, relational support. Faith-based counseling is available upon request for clients who want their Christian values integrated into the work.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

I believe the purpose of psychotherapy is to create a steady, honest space where people can slow down, make sense of their story, and find a way forward with clarity and confidence. Therapy helps uncover patterns that keep you feeling stuck?whether those patterns come from trauma, past relationships, grief, or seasons of overwhelm?and gives you tools to heal rather than simply cope.

At its core, therapy is about restoring what feels ?lost?: hope, connection, identity, and a sense of peace. It supports you in building healthier boundaries, processing painful memories, strengthening relationships, and developing resilience for the future. Many clients also use therapy to reconnect with their values or faith in a way that feels grounding and authentic.

My goal is to walk with you as you heal, grow, and begin living in a way that feels more aligned with who you were created to be.
