Steven Merino is a dedicated and compassionate mental health counselor with more than 10 years of experience in the field of counseling and social work. He holds a master’s degree in forensic mental health counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and is a licensed mental health counselor in New York. Throughout his career, Steven has worked with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, personality conditions, depression, mood conditions, trauma, and relationship issues. He is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and exposure therapy, employing a variety of evidence-based techniques to support his clients in achieving their mental health goals.
Steven is known for his empathetic and client-centered approach, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
