My Approach to Helping
I use an eclectic, person-centered approach because I believe therapy should be as unique as you are. I can’t fully know what you need until we begin working together. In our first session, I’ll mostly listen, asking a few key questions and paying close attention to your responses. Based on what you share, I’ll draw on my experience to put together a “menu” of effective treatment options. In our second session, we’ll review that menu together and co-create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. Across all of my work, you’ll find a consistent thread: recognizing your struggles while also highlighting your strengths through the lens of positive psychology.
