Hi, I'm Steve! My counseling philosophy is that this is your journey, and my job is to help you navigate the rough patches. At the same time, I will teach you the tools you need to help yourself navigate those rough patches in the future. I prefer an informal approach to therapy (no white lab coats here). There are many different modes of therapy, and many counselors prefer to stick to just one or two. My approach is to pick and choose from many different modes in order to tailor your counseling experience to fit your needs. This is your journey. My job is to guide you through that journey while helping you to understand your past and learn to make better, healthier choices, decisions, and relationships.
