My Approach to Therapy

Everything we experience impacts both our mind and body. Unfortunately, more often than not, we end up living in our head as a result of things like stress and anxiety. While our mind can be an insightful place, it can also be isolating if we spend too much time there. Spiraling thoughts can become so all-consuming that you begin to disconnect from your body. You end up withdrawing from the people and activities you love. It becomes harder to be present. You may find yourself on autopilot. This can feel inauthentic to who you are and who you want to be. The irony in this default pattern is that our bodies are incredibly reliable sources of valuable information. They can warn and inform us of our triggers, boundaries, perceptions and fears. What the mind suppresses, the body expresses. By listening to both, you can begin to understand yourself more deeply. This opens up endless possibilities for change. It can be incredibly freeing when you learn how to step out of your head and into your life. As a psychotherapist and yoga teacher, I work from a holistic lens, integrating techniques for both mind and body to find what uniquely works best for you. Through a collaborative process, my goal is to help you connect to your truest self. This comes from learning how to be grounded and present so you can heal from whatever is holding you back. If youre looking for anxiety therapy, stress counseling, or burnout therapy, we can explore whats been keeping you stuck and what helps you feel more like you again. I understand this step can feel overwhelming. Im deeply passionate about the work I do, and Im here to help you feel as comfortable and supported as I can. I offer free 15-minute consultations to see if wed be a good fit. Please feel free to reach outId love to begin this new chapter with you. My Practice & Services

The name Flexible Minds originates from the idea that when we are too rigid in our thinking, it limits our ability to handle situations with ease. When our mind is flexible, we can move with, rather than against, whatever life throws our way. Flexibility allows us to better adapt and embrace life more fully. We are then able to be present and live more authentically to who we are and who we want to be. The more we can bend, the less we will break. We offer virtual psychotherapy, walk & talk therapy, somatic therapy, yoga, and mental health workshops.
