My Approach to Therapy
Much of my work has centered around teens and young adults because this stage of life asks a lot of you. You're often navigating relationships, family dynamics, identity, school, work, and what's next while still figuring out who you are and what you want for yourself.
Many of the people I work with feel misunderstood, like they're carrying more than they show, or like their mind doesn't really slow down. Some are hard on themselves, feel stuck in patterns, or find themselves repeating the same dynamics in relationships, school, work, or family life and want something to change.
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, substance use, life transitions, and finding greater direction, purpose, and motivation. I'm especially drawn to working with LGBTQIA+ clients around identity and relationships. I also work with parents and families through family therapy, parent coaching, or alongside individual therapy when helpful to strengthen communication, increase understanding, and create more connection at home.
My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I'll meet you where you are while helping you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that shape your life. Together, we'll build on what's working, create change where it's needed, and take steps toward the life and relationships you want.
