My Approach to Therapy

I work with adults and teens who seem fine on the outside but feel anxious, exhausted, and at war with their own bodies underneath. Your whole life, you have tried to do everything right. You achieved, you showed up, you carried the weight of everyone's expectations. And still, somehow, it never feels like enough. You might be a high achiever wrestling with obsessive-compulsive challenges (OCD), have a complicated relationship with food or weight, or struggle with the ways stress shows up in your body. I take your investment in therapy seriously and have sought the best training to help you reach your goals and actually feel better. Therapy with me will feel different from talking with friends, but I hope you’ll be just as comfortable here. This therapy space is meant to be a safe place where you can be yourself. You’ve spent so long being the strong one, the capable one, the one who’s fine, and you deserve a space where you can finally set that down. Humor is welcomed here, and so are tears, sometimes simultaneously! If any of this sounds like you, I’d love to hear from you. Reach out, and let’s see if we’re a good fit.
