I'm a therapist offering help to couples, individuals, and families out of my private practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I help clients nurture compassion -
both for themselves and for others--by confronting feelings of shame and adopting loving choices. I specialize in addiction, sexuality, fear, loss and grief, spirituality, shame, and self-loathing.

Shame is a universal emotion that can take many forms. Sometimes it leads to codependency, judging, blaming, addiction, and perfectionistic behavior. Shame tells you there's something wrong with you, that you're just not good enough.

I help my clients manage a wide range of behavioral and emotional challenges. I offer therapy for grief counseling and depression, as well as couples counseling, parenting support, and much more. I offer a personally tailored approach to my clients' needs in a supportive and comfortable environment. I want to help each client achieve the healing and growth he or she deserves. I nurture self-compassion, and help my clients make more loving choices - for themselves and for others.

When I work with couples, I strive to make myself no longer necessary. I adopt a compassionate approach for both partners, helping them to move beyond the blaming, shaming conversations to which they've grown accustomed. Couples come to couples counseling to speak to each other in a different way, or to say goodbye. No matter what your circumstances are, feel free to reach out so we can explore how best to work together.

I offer a unique group called "Loving the Martial Way: Ending the Fight" heal shame & self-hate by nurturing new skills that can improve your relationships and life. Visit my website for more information.

You can find self-acceptance and joy. Improve your life and relationships. Call today for a life worth living!
