My Approach to Therapy
My name is Sherri OLonergan, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I like to use a client centered approach using an integrative model with the use of cognitive behavioral, internal family systems and somatic tools to help ease the nervous system so the true healing came begin. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce, family issues and more.
I am laid back but can be direct. My clients report feeling my empathy and compassion for their situations. I like for the client to set some goals around what they would like from therapy so that I can ensure Im meeting my clients needs. Im friendly and laugh easily putting my clients at ease.
