I believe every couple deserves a safe place to slow down, be heard, and rediscover what drew them together in the first place. My approach blends the research-based tools of the Gottman Method with Emotionally Focused Therapy, which helps partners understand the deeper needs and fears beneath their recurring arguments. Together, we’ll look at the patterns that keep you stuck, build practical skills for communicating and managing conflict, and strengthen the friendship and trust that hold a relationship together. I also draw on Somatic Experiencing and my yoga training because stress and hurt live in the body as much as the mind, and learning to calm your nervous system makes it easier to stay connected when conversations get hard. I also work with families and individuals. Before becoming a counselor, I spent 25 years in leadership and executive coaching, and that experience shapes how I work. Sessions are warm and collaborative, but also focused and goal-oriented, so you’ll leave with insight and something concrete to practice. Whether you’re navigating a crisis, feeling more like roommates than partners, or simply want to invest in a strong relationship, I’ll meet you where you are. I offer sessions in my Oklahoma City office, virtually, and in your home, as well as 90-minute intensives for couples and families who want deeper, more focused work.
