At times, many of us face emotions and suffering that can feel overwhelmingly painful, disheartening, and difficult to bear, often due to unique stressors and events. I work with adults, adolescents, families, and step-families, providing support through a range of therapeutic approaches, including emotionally focused therapy (EFT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), interpersonal psychotherapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems.
These approaches, grounded in neuroscience and attachment theory, empower clients to access their inner strengths and unlock their potential for growth. Since cognitive therapy is often not enough to address intense emotions, I incorporate interventions that help regulate and organize emotional experience to support individuals and families as they thrive.
By creating a safe, accepting, and confidential environment, I help clients, whether dealing with depression, anxiety, marital distress, or difficulties in peer relationships, use their innate ability to heal and grow.
