What's My Approach to Therapy?
Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re looking for someone who truly understands you. I became a therapist because I’ve been there myself, navigating pain, conflict, parenthood, and the very real ups and downs of being human. I know how difficult it can be to reach out for support, and you don’t have to do it alone.
I work with children (ages 6+), teens, adults, couples, and families, and I bring experience from a variety of settings, including ABA therapy, case management, substance use counseling, group therapy, education, and community-based care. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from many different backgrounds and life experiences.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and paced to meet your needs. When we work together, my goal is for you to feel safe, understood, and supported as we explore what’s been weighing on you. We’ll focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating realistic goals that fit your life and values.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck and overwhelmed, there is no concern too big or too small to address in therapy. I hope to help you feel more confident in yourself, more connected in your relationships, and more grounded in your life overall.
