My Approach to Helping
I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your story. Are you feeling depressed, anxious, or burnt out? Are you struggling in your relationships with your family, partner, or friends? Do you find it challenging to connect with others? I intend to be present and walk alongside you to work toward the change you seek in your healing journey. We can work together to explore your thoughts and emotions to understand yourself better and achieve the changes you desire. I will support you with empathy, active listening, non-judgement, acceptance, and compassion.
My therapeutic approach is person-centred and holistic to empower you to reach your goals by focusing on your needs and strengths. I use an integrative and inclusive process, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
