The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
Some people find weekly sessions the most productive. Others feel that bi-weekly or monthly sessions are the right pace for them.
For me, the length of time you participate in therapy will always be your decision. Many people find that they can meet their goals within a few months of treatment. Most of the individuals with whom I work choose to participate in more long-term, ongoing therapy. They find that they continue to benefit from the services even after meeting their initial goals.
