What's My Approach to Therapy?

I am so excited to work with you to develop and maintain balance, wellness, and clarity in your life. Ultimately, the goal of our therapeutic experience together is to ensure you feel not only heard and valued, but empowered to move toward a more aligned sense of self. This can feel tricky and confusing to do when you are in the thick of it; that’s where I come in. Therapy allows us to focus intentionally on you and your needs and bring clarity to each situation. As someone who has experienced mental health challenges and life struggles and who has extensive training as a psychotherapist, I encourage the importance of practising strategies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, solution-focused therapy, yoga, cold healing and other approaches to help guide you toward balance. I offer non-judgmental, compassionate support for any of life’s adventures. These can include anxiety, fears, relationship navigation, neurodiverse life experiences, trauma, depression, existential and spiritual support, and simply shifting perspective. Whatever the need, I will work with you to help navigate the places where you may need support, so you can improve your overall well-being. Finding the right fit in therapy is essential. My goal is to guide you toward making appropriate decisions in your life from a grounded, value-based space that matters to you. I happily offer free 20-minute consultations to ensure our partnership feels comfortable and aligned. Your journey to healing and transformation begins with that initial step, and I am here, ready to support you in every step. Please check your spam folder for my response, as emails sometimes get filed incorrectly.

My Practice & Services

The name Flexible Minds originates from the idea that when we are too rigid in our thinking, it limits our ability to handle situations with ease. When our mind is flexible, we can move with, rather than against, whatever life throws our way. Flexibility allows us to better adapt and embrace life more fully. We are then able to be present and live more authentically to who we are and who we want to be. The more we can bend, the less we will break. We offer virtual psychotherapy, walk & talk therapy, somatic therapy, yoga, and mental health workshops.
