My Approach to Helping

You might be feeling confused or overwhelmed by trying to find a good therapist. I understand and I am here to help. If you or your child or teen is struggling with overcoming anxiety, unwanted thoughts, self-harm, or behavioral problems at homeschool, you've come to the right place. These are my areas of specialty, but I also enjoy working with a wide range of other issues. I approach treatment with genuine concern for mental health and I'm committed to bringing comfort & healing to those who are hurting. I can help you and or your child or teenager return to enjoying life with ease.

*Please note I offer virtual therapy (phone andor video) to clients residing in Colorado and in-person phone and video therapy to clients residing in Illinois. Please contact me to inquire further about my services!

More Info About My Practice

As your therapist, I will work with you and your child or teen to help increase understanding of thought patterns, behaviors & emotions. With this understanding, we can create a plan of action that builds on strengths and teaches coping mechanisms and communication skills to get through the "tough stuff."

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am skilled at helping with anxiety, specifically when anxiety leads to self-harming behaviors or behavior problems at home or at school.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I have sat on the other side of the therapist's office as the client. Having been through it myself, I have a unique advantage as a therapist to understand where my clients are coming from when they share their struggles. I became a therapist to help others in the same way that I was helped when I was younger.
