My Approach to Therapy

I work collaboratively with people who are deeply curious about themselves and want to get to the root of what troubles them. Clients who seek me out are tired of repeating old patterns and ready for something new to emerge in their lives. I am skilled at supporting people who have endured and overcome a wide range of stressful life events and challenges and who value living the examined life. Powerful and painful emotions such as sadness, fear, guilt, or shame may start to rule your thoughts and actions. Together, we will help you relate to your feelings in a new and deeper way, allowing for more vitality and connectedness in your life. My commitment to you is to provide a space where you can speak freely and openly and say the things that are most difficult to say aloud. Ill support your growing awareness of the ways you see and understand yourself, your relationships, and the world. Increased insight and connectedness with others can bring a greater sense of movement into your life. The therapy process takes time. We will work to understand who you are, what youve been through, and your deepest aspirations for life.

My Practice & Services

I provide in-person sessions in Madison, Wisconsin, and teletherapy throughout Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Oregon.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

Our work together will be grounded in your inherent wisdom along with deep compassion and curiosity about your life. You are the expert on your life. My role is to bring out your natural capacity to heal and find your authentic center. The therapeutic relationship that develops between the therapist and client is the heart and soul of effective therapy.
