My Approach to Therapy

Sometimes you might not even have the words for what feels off, just that something does. You may feel anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns that keep repeating even when you try to change them. Part of you might understand what is happening, while another part still feels emotionally stuck. In our work together, I focus on helping you slow things down and make sense of what you’re experiencing without judgment. Therapy is a space to get curious about your emotions, your patterns, and the experiences that have shaped how you move through life. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and support you in exploring what’s underneath the surface, while also offering practical tools when they feel helpful. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), emotionally focused therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches, always adapting therapy to fit you. Whether you are going through something specific or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I would be glad to work with you.
